 Childhood obesity is on the rise in this country.  With computers, video games,convienience foods and lack of exercise, it is no wonder this is happening.  As parents, we want to make sure our children are safe and happy. But, sometimes we overlook what is going into our children's mouths. Busy schedules and lack of time are usually the culprit. It is so easy to get a bite to eat on the way home from work at the nearest fast food joint, or grab that quick frozen dinner and pop it in the microwave. But healthy does not have to be time consuming, tasteless, or expensive.

With a little creativity, you can get your family on the path to a healthy lifestyle.

Todays new recipe:
  
 Banana pushups

Recipe box

2 large bananas

1/2 cup instant dry milk

1 cup plain yogurt

6 oz. frozen orange juice concentrate

1 cup water

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until foamy.

Pour into paper cups and freeze. Push up from bottom of cup and enjoy!
